Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Patient Journey Map

National Institute of Health (NIH) Challenge

Role: UX Designer

I took on the challenging role of leading the NIH Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Patient Journey Map Challenge. This opportunity allowed me to take ownership of a project independently from inception to completion.

The challenge required me to create a comprehensive patient journey map for individuals struggling with substance use disorder, which required extensive research and subject matter expert collaboration.

Results

My efforts showcased effective teamwork within my immediate team and set an example for our entire organization, demonstrating how cross-departmental collaboration could enhance our project outcomes and effectiveness. The success of this project extended beyond its primary scope, as the final deliverables continue to be reused in other relevant projects and address various company needs.

This case study illustrates my capacity to take ownership of a project, conduct in-depth research, and translate insights into visually compelling design artifacts.
