NSF I-Corps Website Redesign
National Science Foundation
Role: User Experience Designer
I took the lead in the challenging project of redesigning the National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps (I-Corps) website.
This project presented a valuable opportunity to enhance an important program recruitment website's user experience and required a strong focus on information architecture.
Challenge
The Challenge: The I-Corps website needed a comprehensive redesign to improve its user experience and content which caused applicants confusion.
Key Objectives: The primary goal was to improve the content design and information architecture, while also creating a user-friendly interface.

Process
During the UX discovery phase, I conducted essential tasks such as content audits, stakeholder interviews, and findings presentations. My participation in these activities allowed me to put together an initial plan of action to improve the site’s information architecture, which was critical to the project's success.
Iterative Approach: I created an affinity map based on user research, an iterative site map, and visual aids to help untangle confusing process flows.

Wireframes
I produced higher-fidelity wireframes using the client's style guide, which proved immensely beneficial during the migration process. My fast work output allowed our team to have multiple rounds of revisions and meaningful discussions with the clients without feeling rushed.
