NBA Player Development (PD) Website Redesign
National Basketball Association (NBA)
Role: UX Designer
I embraced the exciting challenge of redesigning the NBA Player Development website for the 2022 Combine .
The project was characterized by its fast-paced nature and tight timeline, demanding an agile approach to meet the client's requirements and expectations.
Challenge
The Challenge: The NBA sought a redesign of its Player Development website to ensure that it met the evolving needs and expectations of its users and stakeholders.
Key Objectives: The primary goal was to create an updated, user-friendly website that provided an enhanced user experience while meeting all client expectations.
Process
I initiated the project by comprehensively analyzing the client's requirements and project scope.
Site Map Creation: Despite the project's tight timeline, I quickly produced an updated site map that aligned with the client's vision and priorities.
Low-Fidelity Wireframes: Following client approval of the new sitemap, I proceeded to create low-fidelity wireframes, outlining the website's content and user flow.
Site Map & Wireframes
I was able to secure quick buy-in on the updated site map for the new Combine year without having to go through multiple iterations with the clients. The clients were also impressed with the fresh direction of the low-fidelity wireframes, which aligned with their vision for the project.
This positive feedback facilitated a seamless transition from low-fidelity to high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes, enabling the project to proceed efficiently.
